Welcome to the 2024 Spring Program Registration (March 4 - June 5, 2024) with North Star Diving Club!
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account.

For Divers that qualify the North Star Diving Inclusion discount program (you must provide proof of qualifying for government assistance) please contact coach Jason via email (jason@northstardiving.com) or call 612-499-2263 before beginning your registration. Divers who are eligible will pay for their USA Diving membership plus 10% of the program fees, the other 90% will be provided for by a grant from USA Diving.
For the Future Champions, 13 & Under, 14 & Over program options, if you register for 2 or more practice options, you will receive discounts. This will automatically be calculated and applied at checkout, no discount codes necessary. Divers that are part of the inclusion scholarship program are not eligible for this additional discount.
2 Practices = 5% discount
3 Practices = 10% discount
4 practices or more = 20% discount
Make-ups or prorated costs for spring session: As a general rule we base our staffing based upon registration for each individual practice session. With that being said we understand that life happens, and sometimes deviations from schedules are necessary. We try our best to accommodate make-ups during the session. We ask that you let us know in advance by emailing which practices you will be missing, and what day, location and time you would like to attend as a make up. If we can accommodate that change we will let you know. Vacations or missed time during the session are handled in one of two ways, both require you communicate via email with Coach Jason prior to your registration. One please contact Coach Jason jason@northstardiving.com and work out make-ups for practices you will be missing or to discuss prorated costs for the time you will be missing.
Payment Plan Options for 2023 - 2024 Spring Session: When completing your registration there will be three options in the registration; pay in full, pay 50% due at registration and the second installment on April 15, 2024, and finally 50% due at registration then 25% due on March 25, 2024 and April 29, 2024. Please select one of the options when completing your registration.
Space will be limited in each program, so please register as soon as possible.

In order to rent the facilities that we practice in, North Star Diving Club must have liability insurance. We obtain this by being a registered club with both USA Diving and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Diving organizations. Our coaches are members and complete the require training and certifications. All athletes will be registered members of the AAU organization, and a smaller subset will be members of USA Diving also.
All North Star Diving Club participants are required to have a current AAU Athlete Membership before attending a practice.
All 2023 USA Diving memberships will expire on 12/31/23. All 2023-24 AAU Memberships will be valid from the date of purchase and expire on 8/31/24.
For all divers that are planning to participate in our winter program and participate in any club meets or events, please follow the steps below to become an AAU registered athlete. Please be sure to choose North Star Diving Club, LLC (RSAFFCB4) as your club when completing your registration.
AAU Membership. Youth Memberships are for athletes 20 years of age and under, Adult Memberships are for athletes 21 years of age and older. Please register as a standard coverage athlete (youth athlete $20 plus fees, adult $30 plus fees). Please do not select the extended benefit coverage. Click on this link to join AAU for 2023-24
There are two types of USA Diving Athlete Memberships available (athlete and competition athlete). Only the following divers should register for a 2024 USA Diving Membership
There are two age categories for each membership 17U (for divers that will be age 17 or under in the current calendar year) and FINA 18+ (for divers that will be 18 on or before December 31 of the current year). The correct option will be provided when you enter your divers birthdate during the registration process.
Background Screenings for divers FINA 18+.
If you athlete is FINA 18+, you must submit and pay for a background screening (typically $30 may be more if you have lived outside the USA in the last 7 years) with your USA Diving registration. Please allow additional time for processing usually 3-5 business days, but may be longer. These athletes will also have to complete the free United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Safe Sport online training. This will be accessed via the USA Diving registration system. It is provided at no additional cost.

North Star Diving Inclusion Scholarship Program - In an effort to make the sport of diving more accessible to all, North Star Diving has received a grant from USA Diving. For any potential diver whose family is receiving government assistance (e.g. Medicaid, Free/Reduced school lunch programs, food stamps, Head Start, etc.) that can show documentation of such assistance, North Star Diving is offering an excellent opportunity to try the sport of diving. Divers must have or purchase a 2024 USA Diving Athlete Membership ($40 plus processing fees) after December 1, 2023. Diver will be responsible for 10% of the program fees. The other 90% of their training fees will be waived and supported by the USA Diving Grant. This program is not eligible for any additional practice discounts.
